I just spoke to Campsite Sorting Goods in Huntington and the word on Flounder is that it is just starting to pick up. Clams and squid are the baits of best choice and REMEMBER: look for calm and sunny flats for your flounder in 7 to 20 feet depths. Only areas where the water is warming up first will hold fish and bait this early time of year. Northport Harbor is doing nice on the Winter Flounder scene as we speak. GET OUT THERE!!!!!!
