7/3/15 Fishing trip /Blackfish season opens
The Blackfish bite was steady as we caught 21 fish for 2 hours fishing but manged only 2 keepers. A couple of porgies mixed in. Hmmm, have a new strategy for next trip. Moved to deeper waters to find 5 sea bass and a few more porgies mixed in. The bite is starting to pick up, still on the slow side. The Stripers were waiting for us and we boated a 35", 37" & a 39" fish. Looking forward to the next trip as the Sound has come to life.
