Warm Water Activity Begins
Some of you may have noticed that there is a lack of ice on a few lakes or ponds in CT, particularly those with a bit of flow to them. I was out today and the carp were in the shallows feeding and a few crappie and bluegill passed through. It is time to start prepping the warm water gear! I for one am confident I will be able to catch a carp on fly this week, if I do you can find reports here, as well as the report from today: flyfishingcts.blogspot.com

It certainly is, if you want to try at my secret pond just give a call! If the wind and rain isn't bad I'm going to try tomorrow afternoon.

I did well, I got one nice common in the upper teens in weight, maybe even 20lbs:http://flyfishingcts.blogspot.com/20...p-of-2015.html
Unfortunately rain and wind may keep me off the pond for a few days. |
