Trout Time!
It is one of the best times of year for the trout angler in CT right now! Big hatches will be starting soon, stoneflies are currently coming off, and the streamer and nymph fishers will probably have good luck. I personally slammed big brook trout and rainbows today in the Salmon River using big articulated streamers. If wild trout are your deal, small streams are getting warm enough now for using dry flies.
