Baby it's cold outside!!!! Soon most lakes and ponds will afford ice fishing and river anglers will be challenged to find those "cherry" holes. Some friends of mine have been doing well on the Farmington (as usual) - check with Up Country Fly Shop for details on hatches and general action.
The Salmon River has been producing some very nice Browns all Winter so far. Wooly Buggers and Stone Fly patterns in larger sizes such as 10 -14 have been productive. Early March the river will receive it's brooders and you'll have a shot at Rainbows over 25 inches.
We will keep you updated on this action in the woods!!
